Help align point placements while dragging.
Steps
- Open Map and turn Snap on.
- Select and drag a point near another point.
- On image backgrounds, watch the alignment guides while moving.
- On Google Maps, move near another point to snap to its location.
- Turn Snap off when you need unrestricted positioning.
Expected result
Supported movements align more easily without changing record data.
Tips and limits
Image snapping and Google snapping are different: Google uses proximity to another point so rotated-map alignment stays meaningful. This is not automatic lot-boundary detection, a surveying tool or a GLB snapping system.
Effect on the published viewer
Publish changed placements to apply them publicly.
