Add an image background
Where
Map then Backgrounds
Use an uploaded site plan, aerial or floorplan as the surface for points and polygons.
Steps
- Open Map and choose Backgrounds, or use the first-background upload control.
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image under 15 MB.
- After upload, use the background pencil to give it a useful name if needed.
- Wait for upload and saving to finish, then select the background.
- Open Add points to begin placing existing records.
Expected result
The image is an editable background in the draft. It can be used with points or polygons.
Tips and limits
Basic supports one image background. Multiple backgrounds need Pro. PDF plans must be converted to an image before upload. All uploads share the account storage allowance.
Effect on the published viewer
Publish changes to add the background to the public viewer.
