Navigate an image map
Where
Image map canvas
Pan and zoom around the plan while keeping the plan within the viewer bounds.
Steps
- Use the mouse wheel or the plus and minus buttons to zoom.
- In the editor, use right-drag to pan when rapid placement is off.
- In the public viewer, drag with the left mouse button to pan.
- Choose Fit map to return to the full plan.
- Click a point to open its action, or click blank map space to close an open popup.
Expected result
The image moves and zooms without altering point coordinates.
Tips and limits
During rapid placement, right-click skips a record rather than panning. Controls on image maps differ from GLB and Google Map controls. A point marker stays a screen-sized control while its location follows the plan.
Effect on the published viewer
Navigation is temporary; it does not edit the published layout.
