Maintain the connection without losing local placements or the last successful data.
Steps
- Use Sync now after a sheet edit when you want an immediate refresh attempt.
- Open Google Sheet to inspect last-sync status or an error.
- Read the sheet again to remap fields, or choose Managed in Prevue for a field that should stop syncing.
- Use Exclude on a linked row to hide it, then Include again in the bin to restore eligibility.
- To end the connection, choose Disconnect sheet then Disconnect and keep rows.
Expected result
Mapped values refresh; local assets and placements are retained. Disconnect converts linked rows into manual records.
Tips and limits
The app attempts refresh about every minute while the editor or public viewer is in use; source publication can take longer. A failed sync keeps last successful data. Missing source IDs hide their records while retaining data and placements. Changing an ID creates a different linked record. Reconnecting after disconnect imports new linked rows.
