Set zoom limits map boundaries and the entrance

Control the initial geographic experience and mark one project entrance.
Steps
- Set the starting view and choose Save starting view.
- Under Zoom limits, set Minimum zoom (furthest out) and Maximum zoom (closest in), between 0 and 24. Valid numbers preview as you type; press Enter or click away to save. Sliders save immediately. Use Return to starting view to restore the saved camera.
- Frame the allowed area and choose Limit navigation to current view, or Clear navigation limits to remove it.
- Toggle Show Google road labels if required.
- Choose Place project entrance and click its geographic position.
- Preview and publish the configuration.
Expected result
The background retains zoom limits, optional navigation bounds, satellite or hybrid style and an entrance marker.
Tips and limits
New maps default to 0–24; existing maps retain their saved limits. Google imagery and map type can cap the closest available zoom. Previewing limits does not replace the saved starting view, although a saved starting zoom outside new limits is adjusted to fit. An active navigation boundary can prevent zooming out even when Minimum zoom is lower; Clear navigation limits removes that boundary. Bounds restrict map navigation rather than defining a legal site boundary. The entrance is stored per Google background.
