Where
Google Map then Add points
Keep locations attached to real-world positions when the map pans, zooms, rotates or tilts.
Steps
- Align and lock the plan overlay first.
- Use Add points to select an existing record.
- Place a point at its location, use rapid placement for a batch, or draw a polygon around the relevant area.
- Drag a marker or polygon corner to refine its geographic position.
- Preview several zoom levels and camera angles, then publish.
Expected result
The placement is stored using geographic map coordinates, separately from the PNG image.
Tips and limits
Changing or moving the overlay leaves geographic point locations unchanged. Placements on image and GLB backgrounds remain separate; Prevue cannot automatically align them without a calibration feature. Google polygons use Prevue’s own editing approach rather than the retired Google drawing library.
Effect on the published viewer
Publish the geographic placements to update visitors.
