Duplicate a point

Create another record from an existing point without changing the original.
Steps
- Find the source row in Points.
- Choose its Duplicate point action.
- Edit the copied name and values so the new row represents the intended item.
- Review copied images, buttons and package assignments.
- Place the new record on the required background.
Expected result
A separate record is created with a new identity. It can be edited independently.
Tips and limits
Duplication is not a linked template. Uploaded files can be shared by the copied records, so removing a reference is different from deleting the underlying file. Check the new row rather than assuming it represents a new lot correctly.
Effect on the published viewer
The new record needs its own published placement before visitors can use it.
