Rotate tilt and reset the satellite view

View the satellite map and plan overlay from different headings and an angled perspective.
Steps
- Use the rotate-left or rotate-right arrow to change heading.
- Choose Tilt to angle the map, or hold Shift and drag to rotate and tilt interactively.
- Choose 2D for a top-down north-up view.
- Use Reset to starting view to restore the saved camera.
- As an editor, choose Map settings then Save starting view if visitors should open at the new angle.
Expected result
The map rotates or tilts, with the overlay and placements following geographic coordinates.
Tips and limits
Rotation and tilt require the supported vector renderer and WebGL. A fallback device may show a flat map without these controls, and tilt depends on zoom. This is angled satellite imagery, not photorealistic 3D terrain or buildings. Check alignment and controls on the actual devices used by your audience.
Effect on the published viewer
Navigation is temporary. Save starting view and publish to make the angle the public default.
